About the role:
Astute's Power Team is partnered with a global automation systems company to recruit a Field Project Engineer to mainly cover the Midlands region however, travel across the UK and potentially global travel will be required.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Projects and Service Manager you will be:

• Providing technical. application & trial support and carrying our demonstrations on specific products to customers and the Sales Team
• Carrying out all aspects of system installation, commissioning and support
• Acquiring and maintaining knowledge of the company's products including support and their applications
• Liaising with the Manager, Project Manager and Admin to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Assisting the sales team in selling product ranges to achieves sales where required

Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:

• A Minimum BTEC level qualification in electrical & electronic engineering or equivalent
• An IT/Computing qualification will be highly advantageous with coding experience
• A full UK Driving licence is a necessity due to this being a field service role

Prior experience, skills and knowledge:
The Field Project Engineer would suit somebody who has:

• Experience with Auto Ident or Vision applications
• Experience working in a field-based role.
• Excellent customer service and strong commercial acumen
• Experience in LUA or PLC programming will be desirable
