The BIRMINGHAM based workshop is easily commutable from surrounding towns & cities including Coventry, Sutton Coldfield, Solihull, Walsall, Smethwick, West Bromwich, Halesowen, Bromsgrove, Nuneaton and Tamworth and Redditch.
Key Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:

• Carrying out repair, overhaul and refurbishment work on a range of industrial equipment both in the workshop and at customer sites (mainly domestic with occasional international travel)


• Overhauling, repairing and refurbishing various types of industrial rotating equipment including AC & DC Motors, Pumps, Gearboxes and Bearings

The Field Service Engineer will have:

• IDEAL NOT ESSENTIAL: Formal qualifications within a relevant discipline (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC, HND, BTEC or similar)


• Solid work history & experience working in a similar position within an engineering or manufacturing environment


• The flexibility to occasionally work on site and away from home

Working Hours of the Field Service Engineer:
Regular day shifts working 40 hours per week

• Monday to Thursday - 07:45 - 15:45


• Friday - 07:45 - 15:15

Basic Package of the Field Service Engineer:

• Annual Salary: £37,419.20 per annum (£19.77 per hour)


• Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days including public holidays


• Annual Bonus up to £1,700.00 per annum - subject to company performance


• Pension Scheme: 9% Combined Contribution (5% Employer / 4% Employee)


• Free onsite car parking
