Field Service Engineer

• South West / Devon & Cornwall (Exeter would be a good base)
• Permanent staff position
• Up to 35,000 basic salary; typical earnings of 60K+ with callout and overtime
• Company vehicle, additional payments for callout/standby

A market leading engineering service company is looking to recruit experienced a Field Service Engineer to join their team.

Covering the South West region predominantly, you will primarily be responsible for the installation, repair and servicing of variable drives and/or control panels.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Service existing clients
• Installation of new systems
• Attend breakdowns for reactive maintenance
• Promote new company products using your technical expertise
• Maintain customer relationships

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a similar Field Service role is essential
• Ideally you will have a background with variable rives or control panels, but full product training will be given
• A strong engineering background with ability to read and interpret technical drawings is required
• Minimum HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, along with 17th Ed Regs
• Other requirements: JIB Skills Card/CCSC, Safety Passport
• Knowledge of 24-110 SELV, (Apply online only) LV, single and 3 phase systems
• High level of IT literacy
• Commercially aware, with excellent communication skills
• Full UK driving license
