40 Hours per Week (Within Business Hours of 06:30 and 17:30)
Field Service Engineer required for an industry leading engineering company due to company growth. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a company who are truly committed to employee development as they can support you to obtain qualifications such as CompEx and progress within the team.
To apply for this role, you will need experience with electrical installations but can come from any industry background. The role requires nationwide travel and stay away (approximately two nights per fortnight) which candidates must be comfortable with.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out installation works for gas detection systems, panels (LV switchgear, control panels etc.), process control instrumentation and other equipment such as control valves, heaters and lighting when required. The role will involve working in both hazardous and non-hazardous environments as the company work within sectors such as utilities, renewable energy, petrochemical, oil & gas, and manufacturing.
The Field Service Engineer Role:
· Electrical installation and instrumentation
· Working with gas detection systems, panels (LV switchgear, control panels etc.), process control instrumentation and other equipment such as control valves, heaters and lighting when required
· Nationwide travel – stay away approximately two nights per fortnight
· Support to gain CompEx qualification (if not already obtained)
· Future progression opportunities
