SalaryPosistion: Field Service Engineer - Electrically Bias Location: Rochester, Kent. Servicing the UK and Ireland.Salary: GBP25,000- GBP42,500 dependent on experienceBenefits:

- Overtime paid at 1.5x (hours worked over 8 per day and all-day Saturdays when required). Standard hours are between 8am-5pm.

The Role: We are actively seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer with an Electrical Bias, to install, service and maintain specialist industrial food processing and packaging machinery, for our industry leading clientThis is a field based role, servicing clients throughout the UK and Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Servicing and installing of our specialist range of industrial machinery like VFFS, HFFS, multihead weighers etc.
- Fault Diagnosing and repair (electrical and mechanical).
- Troubleshooting known and unknown issues related to breakdown.
- Building and maintaining a strong relationship with clients.
- Training machinery operators.
- Maintaining a high level of health and safety.
Key Skills:
- NVQ level 2 in Electrical Engineering (minimum).
- 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Direct experience with packaging equipment such as VFFS, weighers, metal detectors/check weighers.
- Knowledge of safety circuits, low voltage relay logic and PLC control systems to high current power circuits, which includes motors and heaters.
- Strong mechanical skils.
- Clean UK driving licence.
- As this is a field-based role, frequent overnight stays are a requirement of the role.
