UK Forks are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team covering the West London area (Reading, Slough, M4 corridor). Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Field Service Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our team, ensuring the maintenance and repair of our machines are completed to our high standards.You will also serve as the frontline representative for our customers, ensuring exceptional service and fostering lasting customer connections.Carrying out essential maintenance and servicing to our hire machinery on-site with customersOffer breakdown resolutions and an effective repair serviceTroubleshoot and resolve any technical/mechanical issue during site visitsCollaborating with the wider operations teams to identify opportunities for improvements to our serviceMaintaining accurate documentation of all repairs, services, and customer interactionsWhat We’re Looking ForExperience of repairing and servicing plant equipment which includes TelehandlersA recognised mechanical qualification in mechanical plant or agricultural engineeringExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesWillingness to travel to customer sites as requiredA valid driving licenceWhat We Can Offer You 25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysCompetitive salary & overtime potential40 hour weekFully equipped service vehicleTraining & development programmeDealership training (where applicable)Roto training & Diagnostics trainingLife Assurance coverPension schemeShare Save option (Vp plc)A Little Bit About UsUK Forks is the leading provider of telehandler hire in the UK.
