Field Service Technician - Leeds - Basic Salary £25,000-£32,000 Per Annum

Field Service Technician- Package Overview:

• Starting salary of £25,000 - £32,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)
• No overtime required
• Company vehicle for business use, pension, bonus scheme
• Full-time, permanent
• Hours of work- Monday to Friday (40 hours a week) Some Saturdays and Bank Holidays required on a rota basis
• Excellent holiday entitlement- 25 days plus bank holidays (increases with each year of service)
• Excellent progression and training opportunities
• Area covered - Yorkshire and Humber
• Field based role

Some of the services offered by our client include IT based systems, door entry systems, access control, door automation and home automation. Previous experience within all of these areas is preferred although not essential.

Field Service Technician Role and Responsibilities:

• Manage the assessment, design, installation, configuration, maintenance, repair and removal of environmental and access control systems
• Ensure you work safely, ensuring all documentation and risk assessments are completed
• Provide technical support
• Carry out visits to all customers (government and private) to assess their needs
• Ensure all work is carried out within a reasonable time frame, ensuring care is taken and the work is completed to a high standard
• Produce installation and repair reports
• Fault find and repair equipment when needed
• Attend product demonstrations, events and exhibitions
• Prepare quotations
• Undertake client assessments and prepare reports

Field Service Technician Skills and Experience:

• You will need to have previous experience with environmental and access control systems
• Ideally you will have previous experience within a similar role
• You will be willing to learn new systems
• You will need to be professional, courteous, helpful and friendly
• You will hold a full UK driving licence or equivalent
• A drive and enthusiasm to grab hold of opportunities
• A positive attitude and the ability to self-motivate is a must
• Experience of an electrical background would be very useful
• You will be able to pass an enhanced DBS check
• You will be within a commutable distance to the Leeds area
