Role: Finance Administrator
Description of role and key responsibilities:
Processing of supplier Invoices
- Ensure invoices payable are correctly authorised, posted to the ledger and processed for payment in a timely manner
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Manage the supplier invoice mailbox, forwarding invoices to the relevant staff members for authorisation and responding to any staff or supplier queries in respect to supplier invoices
- Maintain electronic records of invoices paid
- Create and update standing orders to make recurring supplier payments
- Carry out supplier call backs to verity supplier bank details
- Prepare manual TT payment requests for foreign currency payments
General
- Assist with the maintenance of up to date procedures for all processes, and ensure the most efficient method of processing, including the use of standard forms, schedules as appropriate.
- Reconcile intercompany recharges and prepare Accounts receivable invoices
- Assist other members of the Finance Team in ad-hoc projects
- Assist the wider IBCI Teams where appropriate and time allows
Core Skills and knowledge:
- Experience of Banking and or Invoice payment systems
- Experience in bookkeeping
- Computer literate (including MS Office applications)
- Good inter-personal and communication skills
- The ability to work under pressure with pleasant attitude
- Flexible, team player with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Have a good understanding of the regulatory environment including the regulations, rules and guidance and their implications relevant to the job and to follow all applicable internal compliance considerations and appropriate processes, policies and procedures (training will be given)
