Finance Business Partner

We are looking for an accountant with management accounting and Business Partnering experience to join a leading, engineering services, property maintenance, and facilities management business as a Finance Business Partner. Paying £60k and based in Gatwick, with hybrid working (2-3 days a week in the office), this position is a commercially focused management accounting and Business Partnering role.

The Role

• Produce the month end reporting (P & L, balance sheet, cash flow) in line with Group timetables and provide transparent contract finance reporting that will withstand management scrutiny/challenge.
• Producing accurate accounting of accrued and deferred income on a monthly basis, with clear visibility and communication to the business on non-current debt.
• Ensure accurate and timely client billing by agreeing proposed charges with clients in advance of billing.
• Partnering with operational managers and departmental heads to prepare full annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Ad hoc analysis and presentation of complex financial information in response to senior management requests.

Your Profile

• You will need to be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
• Management accounting as well as Business Partnering, and commercial experience is essential.
• Prior experience with contracts is advantageous but not a prerequisite. (Facilities Management, catering, cleaning etc).
