About The Role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated Finance and Communications Manager to work in the Health Services Research team in Swansea University Medical School, ranked number 1 in the UK by the Complete University Guide 2021. As part of the PRIME Centre Wales collaboration funded by Health and Care Research Wales, the post holder will work closely with HSR staff and key partner organisations, the wider research community, and key stakeholders to provide finance information, effective communications, advice, and support.
This role will include negotiation and liaison with research partners and University research offices. The finance function will provide up to date finance information and data to support senior members of the Health Services Research Team in carrying out comprehensive financial and business planning, budget monitoring and control. The communications function will take responsibility for developing and implementing communications to ensure that all current and future HSR business activities are represented appropriately, effectively, and comprehensively.
This is a fixed term position until 31 January 2025.
