Finance Manager

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a hybrid working Finance Manager to join a leading renewable energy business based in Surrey.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will involve all aspects of financial & management reporting, business partnering with finance and non-finance stakeholders as well as leading & developing the finance team.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Month end management reporting, including variance analysis and commentary
• Statutory reporting (under FRS102)
• Conducting regular balance sheet reviews
• Business partnering with internal departments and other external third parties
• Leading regular budget holder review meetings
• Supporting the development and optimisation of the finance function - from a people, process & systems perspective
• Supporting the Finance Department in maintaining strong operational procedures and financial control

Applicants Must Be:

• Fully Qualified ACA/ACCA or CIMA (or overseas equivalent)
• Previous people management experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office applications, with Excel to intermediate level
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong team ethic.
• Flexible approach.
