Description
- Overseeing financial planning and budgeting processes
- Managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting, and reforecast processes
- Adhering to company accounting standards and ensuring compliance with insurance industry regulations
- Supervising the Accounting & Finance Department and ensuring tasks are carried out in a timely manner
- Identifying and implementing cost-saving measures and efficiencies
- Managing financial risk and forecasting long-term financial health
- Develop internal financial processes to better utilise technology and available software systems.
- Manage a small team
- Attend board meetings
- Experience with processing a Client Account.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- Relevant qualification in finance (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, QBE will be considered)
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools
- Strong leadership skills and an ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent financial and economic understanding, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Outstanding communication skills and a strong ethical code
Job Offer
- A competitive salary of approximately £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
- Hybrid working model, allowing 3 days of on-site work in Bridgend and the rest remote
