Here at Cobalt, we are partnering with a leading, international real estate company, who are looking for a Finance Manager in their Frankfurt offices. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team in a world-renowned company. For this role we a looking for an individual who has experience with Real Estate in an accounting background.

Responsibilities include (But not limited to):

• Reporting of portfolios, review and input on SPAs, review and input on purchase price mechanisms, review and input on companies' management agreements, and acquisition accounting.
• Business partnering with internal teams.
• Leads the annual audits, and review of the consolidated financial statements that are prepared by external providers.
• Management of relationships with outsourced investment accounting providers.
• review of the annual planning and budgeting process ensuring compliance with proforma models.
• Manages ad-hoc requests from investors and stakeholders. Complete various financial, accounting, narrative, administrative, and other reports and analyses and duties as assigned or necessary for the successful execution of the business plans.

Requirements:

• 5 Years of experience working within accounting in the German market. They can be in an in-house position, service provider, or Big4.
• Having experience in the Real Estate sector is a must.
• A strong understanding of German GAAP and IFRS is a must.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA or ACA would be an advantage.
• Have experience working with Yardi.
• Fluent in English and German is a must.
• Good communication skills and a desire to grow in a dynamic environment.
