Cobalt recruitment have partnered with an NHS trust based in Essex. The opportunity for a Finance Manager to join a team for 3 months whilst the post is being filled substantively. The successful candidate will be reporting into the Finance Director and must be able to commit to 2 days per week in the office
The ideal candidate will be a skilled Finance Manager who has previously worked within the NHS at this Band 8a level
Key Requirements
- Qualified Accountant CIPFA, ACCA or equivalent
- Strong leadership and management skills essential as this role will involve management of staff
- Ability to interpret and analyse complex data
- Have a strong understanding of financial processes and procedures
- Ability to undertake financial modelling, build budgets and monitor forecasts
- Good persuasion and negotiation skills are essential
