Finance Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, you can take responsibility and provide regular financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Xero Accounting Software 
• Chase up all debt on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
• Ensure that the current account for the company is checked daily during the week and any issues reported immediately to the Managing Director.
• Reconcile all bank statements and update necessary spreadsheets on a daily basis.
• Print off bank statements on a daily basis.
• Process client payments via Worldpay.
• Raise invoices when instructed via Xero software
• Check all Boards on a daily basis, ensuring that this reflected on financials.
• Ensure all bank statements, cheque books, pay in book etc are securely locked away every day.
• Ensure payment plans are arranged when instructed, issued to clients and payments received.
• Chase up Standing Orders on a monthly basis, with the assistance if necessary.
• Assist the Managing Director with regard to Bad Debts when necessary.
• Ensure clients files are kept up to date
• Chase up Standing Orders on a monthly basis, with assistance of the Managers within 525
• Ensure Standing Orders/Direct Debits are set up for clients.
• Ensure on 20th of each calendar month all Standing Order/Direct Debit clients are sent reminder invoices for payment on 25th.
• Update all necessary spreadsheets.
• Liaise with Managing Director regarding Bad Debts and action with Debt Collectors.
• Ensure that all emails are checked and responded to within 24 hours.
• Ensure that telephone messages are responded to within 24 hours.
• Any other duties deemed necessary for the completion of the job.
• Assist with the Accounts Department when necessary.
• Assist with Book Keeping duties when necessary.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
