• Location: South Leicestershire / On Site
• Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 (pro-rata)
• Part Time 3-4 days per week

Summary
Our client – a privately-owned firm based in South Leicestershire – is seeking a Qualified Accountant to lead a small finance team on a permanent basis.

This role would suit someone from a Practice background that has maybe since cut their teeth in industry

The Role

⦁ Producing quarterly / annual accounts,
⦁ Preparation of statutory accounts,
⦁ Annual accounts submission
⦁ Bookkeeping
⦁ VAT and self-assessment tax returns
⦁ Liaising with third party providers, inc HMRC, Tac Advisors, Accountants, Bank, Insurance providers etc
⦁ Dealing with the Directors personal financials & investments,
⦁ Review management reports & provide feedback to Board.

The Person

⦁ Qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent,
⦁ Min. 3-years experience
⦁ Excellent planning & organisation skills

⦁ Effective communication skills
⦁ Strong IT skills incl. Microsoft Excel, IRIS Tax, VT Final Accounts. The drive to assist in the modernisation / improvement of accounting systems,
⦁ Valid UK driving licence.

Package

⦁ Appointment Type: Permanent (in-house)
⦁ Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 (subject to experience)
⦁ Hours: Part-Time 3-4 days per week
