We are supporting an SaaS provider in their search for a Part time company accountant to provide accurate financial information to the company's directors.
The ideal applicant will be comfortable working in an autonomous role, you may be either practice trained or experienced working in an SME.
Past experience using Sage 50 would also be a benefit.
Our client has a "Remote first" approach to working, meaning you would be required in the office as little as once every 4 months. Their offices are based in rural North Yorkshire.
Main duties of the role include:
- Review of monthly management accounts.
- The preparation of and reporting on consolidated group monthly management accounts
- The review and filing of required submissions to external bodies, including vat returns and confirmation statements.
- Preparation of the year-end financial statements, liaising with the external accountants for finalisation.
- Cashflow management and forecasting.
- Management of credit control procedures
- Working with senior internal stakeholders to prepare budgets for presentation.
- Liaising with the external accountants to provide payroll submission information and journal posting to Sage 50
- Ownership of the financial policies and controls for review, update and communication.
- Line management duties for one accounts staff
Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 pro rata
