Key Responsibilities in the Finance / Accounts Manager role:
- Taking ownership of financial processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
- Analysing financial data to provide insights into the company's financial performance
- Developing and implementing strategies for cost control and revenue enhancement
- Creating financial reports, presenting key findings, insights and recommendations to higher management and meetings
- Managing day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable, receivable, VAT returns and payroll for 30+ staff
- Collaborating with other departments to align financial strategies with overall business goals
To be successful in the Finance / Accounts Manager role, you will need:
- Proven experience managing finance operations or similar
- Knowledge of Construction Industry Scheme (CIS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office suite
This is a permanent position offering full time hours, Monday to Friday and you’ll be based in offices in Colwyn Bay. You’ll be offered an annual salary in the region of £30-40k and reviewed as probation period. Opportunities to discuss salary will be available depending on skills and experience.
