The Permanent Division of Robert Half is excited to be working exclusively and on a retained basis with Aerospheres in Harrow to assist with the recruitment of a Finance Manager during an exciting period of growth, change and development for the business.

The Role

The position will deputise for the CFO when needed and have significant interface with other Aerospheres department heads and senior Finance staff within the FDH Group. The role requires the ability to manage a team (although initially will have no direct reports) as well as work independently. The ability to work accurately and under time pressure is paramount.

As Finance Manager you will work closely with the CFO in a full Management and Financial accounting role. The position will deputise for the CFO when needed and have significant interface with other Aerospheres department heads and senior Finance staff within the FDH Group. The role requires the ability to manage a team (although initially will have no direct reports) as well as work independently. The ability to work accurately and under time pressure is paramount. This is a newly created role with an excellent opportunity to add value to the business in order to assist with continued and sustained growth.

Day to day duties will consist of:

• Daily reporting to CFO and Parent Company.
• Weekly rolling cash flow report preparation.
• Monthly management accounts preparation - to tight schedule and with commentary.
• Annual Financial Statements and audit/tax liaison.
• Maintain monthly schedules to support monthly accounts.
• Assist FD with Budget preparation/ Forecasts and other ad-hoc projects.
• Management Accounting - reviewing inventory costs and margins achieved on sales.
• Working with other Senior Managers to help develop business processes including the ERP system to introduce improvements to improve our process efficiency.
• Cash flow maintenance and reporting
• Credit Control

Your Profile

You will be a Qualified or QBE Accountant with at least 5 years' experience in both management and financial accounting. A first move from a Practice environment will also be considered. . Knowledge of FRS would be of benefit as would experience within a FMCG, Sales or Distribution business. You must be self-motivated, able to act on own initiative and be able to communicate at all levels. This is an excellent role where development will be available as the business continues to change and develop.

Salary and Benefits

The role of Finance Manager for Aerospheres in Harrow is offering a salary of £45-60K DOE + Bonus + Benefits and will be working on a hybrid basis in Harrow with some travel when required.
