Reporting directly to the Director of Advancement Services, this crucial position oversees the Development and Alumni Relations Office’s finance operations, boasting an operating budget of over £10 million annually. You will lead a dedicated team, managing all aspects of budgeting and financial accounting to ensure strategic alignment with the university's broader goals. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the strategic and operational management of the finance function.
• Implementing robust financial processes and controls.
• Preparing detailed budget plans and allocations.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Providing expert financial advice and reports to key stakeholders within the university.
