Role: Finance Transformation Director

Location: Dublin 18

The Role:

The Finance Transformation Director work with the wider finance team and finance leadership team in driving the Group's integration and transformation objectives. This role will be key to identifying and supporting continuous improvement in policies and procedures across the accounting/financial reporting/business partnering group processes.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing leadership in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of systems, initiatives and processes across finance.
  • Adept at leading and driving significant change projects across finance and the wider organizations
  • Supporting the finance leadership team in driving best in class finance processes and structures
  • Collaboration and leadership within the wider finance organization in the integration of acquisition targets into the group finance structure
  • Working with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement group strategy and projects (finance, IT, legal, tax, treasury, HR and operations)
  • Project management of significant change projects across all key finance disciplines and liaising with operational colleagues on ensuring change impact is managed appropriately.
  • Establishing and leading effective communication across finance and the wider organization in respect of key change projects.
  • Preferably proficient in operating in and leading a strong SOX control environment, and providing guidance and direction to the wider group finance team for continuous improvement
  • Preferably proficient or accomplished in using best in class reporting tools and technologies

Experience requirements:

  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to lead significant multi-disciplinary senior teams
  • Significant prior experience in finance process optimisation and automation
  • Experience in a range of best in class finance disciplines including e.g. systems change, best practice reporting etc
  • An ability to identify and lead development, implementation and continuous improvement of projects systems, initiatives and processes.
  • An ability to identify areas for improvement and best in class practice
  • A confident, decisive person with strong interpersonal skills
  • An accomplished professional who is tenacious and determined
  • An experienced high performing ACA, ACCA with minimum 10 years PQE
