Junior Financial Advisor

We are seeking a proactive and ambitious Junior Financial Advisor to join our client based in the Manchester area. This is an ideal role for someone who is eager and determined to progress, develop, and succeed in Wealth Management.

The ideal candidate will be Level 4 qualified or working towards qualification in financial planning, with at least 1 year of experience in the field.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of pensions and investments, which are our core products, and will be instrumental in providing advice to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with 30 to 40 new qualified clients per week, understanding their financial needs and objectives
• Establish trust with clients to complete letters of authority and conduct thorough fact-finds
• Work closely with Client Relationship Managers to ensure a seamless client experience
• Prepare for a rapid career progression, with the aim to start delivering advice within 6 to 12 months and eventually lead the client relationship and advice team

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A year of working experience within financial planning or wealth management
• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to establish trust with clients
• A solid understanding of pensions and investments
• Knowledge of mortgages, equity release, or protection is advantageous
• Experience in understanding new clients’ needs and objectives
• Ambition to progress quickly within the company and take on leadership responsibilities
