Financial Analyst

We are recruiting a Financial Analyst (FP&A) for a fast growth international data driven business based in Oxford.

Reporting to the recently appointed Director of Financial Planning & Analysis you will play a pivotal role in the production of high-quality financial analysis to help influence the decision-making process across the business as it continues along its high growth trajectory.

In addition, you will business partner with key operational stakeholders outside of finance to help influence and drive performance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse and deliver accurate insights on both financial and operational performance.
• Develop financial models to support the forecast, budget, and strategic planning processes.
• Report on and analyse performance metrics (i.e., KPI’s).
• Assist in preparing executive, board, and external presentations.
• Contribute to the preparation of budgeting and forecasting, this will include the analysis of budgets versus actuals.
• Engage in business partnering with key stakeholders.

Your profile

• Currently studying for CIMA / ACCA / ACA (or equivalent) qualification.
• A minimum of two year’s Financial Analysis experience.
• Strong IT systems skills i.e., advanced Excel user, able to update and create clear PowerPoint presentations. PowerBI would be advantageous.
• Proactive in nature with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines ensuring that the work is done to a high standard.
• Meticulously organised, possessing high attention to detail, and strong communication skills, you will be an approachable character, hard working with willingness to support and improve the finance function.
• Eager to learn and contribute to the success of the finance team.

Hybrid Working: The team typically works in the office 2 or 3 days per week, depending on business needs.
