Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):
Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Understanding the data needs of financial system requirements, which may include procure to pay, fixed assets, revenue recognition, cash and financial close.
Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support.
Assist with finance and audits cum other outside accounting requirements when needed.
Execute other projects and duties that may be assigned.
Research, implement, and support new finance system implementation when necessary.
Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for a business.
Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
Recommend actions by analysing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
Maintain and update all the financial data in the form of charts, graphs, etc., by making use of computer spreadsheets and any other related software that would provide the relevant information at a glance.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]
2-3 years of increasing experience in accounting system and Business Analyst.
Good background in handling multi-entities and multi-currency.
Must be a strong communicator coupled with the ability to maintain open communication with customers, internal employees and managers as needed.
Proven experience in track record of working with large groups or teams to implement changes resulting from financial analysis.
High proficiency in financial modelling techniques.
Must be able to prioritize, multitask as well as work independently.
Must be able to maintain quality of work and at the same time meet multiple deadlines as required.
Ability to co-exist in a team.
Should be Demonstrated ability to assess credit risks accurately
Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently
Hands on experience required with MS-Office, SharePoint, Office 365.
