Job Description
Morgan McKinley are delighted to have partnered with a leading Financial Services business based in West Sussex in the appointment of a Financial Controller.
This crucial hire will oversee a team of 8 including both direct and indirect reports alongside providing key leadership to the company / group to maximise performance.
We are looking to speak to experienced finance leaders with excellent tenure and vast post qualification experience (PQE).
Salary: up to £105K + Bonus
Location: West Sussex
Hybrid working: 3 office days / 2 from home
The Financial Controller will oversee:
- Contribute towards the development of finance strategy
- Provide leadership to the finance and accounting strategy to maximise company performance
- Provide leadership to the finance team and work with senior teams to grow the business and formulise strategies for growth
- Monitor all regulatory requirements
- Produce key reports for the board
- Oversee treasury management policies
- Manage the groups budgeting process
- Oversee the annual financial audit
- Analysis of the company's financial performance and production of long term forecasts
Skills and experience include:
- ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, ACA - Qualified
- Proven experience managing teams
- A background in financial services and FCA reporting
- Strong understanding of IFRS / Regulatory requirements
