As Financial Controller, you'll report to the Head of Controllership and will be responsible for the financial integrity of the statutory entities internationally within the company, ensuring all period end and local legal and regulatory deadlines are met.
This role is hybrid for either London or Manchester.
In your first few weeks in this Financial Controller role, you can expect to:
- Perform monthly Balance Sheet Reviews and regular reviews internationally
- Work with the Head of Technical Accounting to determine the appropriate accounting driven from changes in accounting standards and policy changes and feedback to the business as required
- Work closely with Business Finance teams on rolling out business change initiatives and advising on implications of updated technical accounting standards
- Ensure all Group policies (including accounting, tax and treasury) and key controls are adhered to internationally.
- Experience implementing internal policies and procedures and complying with external policies such as regulatory and accounting procedures
- The ability to interpret financials into meaningful insights, to inform decision-making and deliver against key metrics
- Extensive experience in month-end reporting and strong working knowledge of finance systems.
