Key details:

Location: Worthing/Lancing.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00-17:00 with an early finish on Friday's.

Salary: £65,000-£70,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance.
• Provide accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimise financial resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and maximise profitability.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practises to drive continuous improvement.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Recognised professional accounting qualification
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in financial management software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
