Financial Controller - Portfolio Accounting - Fixed Term Contract until Dec 2024

Human Capital Partners are working a Commercial Property Investment company with over £800m in AUM to appoint their Financial Controller - Portfolio Accounting.

The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified with significant experience of leading complex, Group Accounting functions. You will lead a qualified, high performing Portfolio Accounting team to deliver robust financial reporting and group consolidation. This will include seven individual property portfolios that are managed on behalf of investors.

The Financial Controller - Portfolio Accounting sits alongside and works with the Financial Controller Commercial, Financial Controller - Corporate & Treasury, the Group Company Secretary, and the Financial Controller - Property Accounts.

The role has responsibility for 9 direct reports and has overall responsibility for all reporting, accounting, and accounting policies arising from the portfolios under management.
