SalaryFinance lead role for a professional who will have overall responsibility for the day to day running of the Finance Function. This role will report in to the Finance Director and will have line management responsibility of an Assistant Accountant.

My client are an early stage biotech/pharmaceutical business who are AIM listed. Their market leading scientists are currently working on a number of live projects in the drug development space.
Description
- Analysing group processes and improving efficiencies across the business.
- Manage the Group Cash flow
- Produce consolidated monthly management accounts for all Group companies using Oracle Netsuite accounting software.
- Prepare rolling forecasts for all group companies.
- Run monthly payroll reports and process payments via banking system
- Assist Year-end Audit, answering audit queries.
- Preparation of statutory accounts for the annual audit under IFRS
- Maintain Group budgets and work with Strategic finance
- Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Review and approve Accounts Assistant's work to ensure accuracy. Mentoring/training as necessary
Profile
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or qualified by experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Exposure reporting under IFRS would be advantageous
