We are seeking a skilled and motivated Financial Litigator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of post-qualification experience, with a robust background in litigation, particularly in handling financial claims such as flight delay compensation. The Role - Responsibilities:

* Work with the team to highlight defendant strategies.
* Oversee client intake processes and initial consultations to assess claim viability.
* Ensure all documentation is compliant with current legal standards and regulations.
* Develop and implement case strategies tailored to individual client needs.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
* Attend relevant training sessions and legal seminars.
* Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare court documents.
* Manage a caseload of financial claims, with a focus on flight delay compensation, from inception through resolution.
* Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and alternative dispute resolution forums.
* Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on litigation risks, potential outcomes, and settlement options.
* Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to leverage expertise and resources in complex litigation matters.
* Stay abreast of legal developments, precedents, and industry trends related to financial claims.

Experience:

* A Qualified Solicitor or Barrister in England and Wales with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in litigation.
* Able to demonstrate proficiency in handling financial claims, particularly flight delay compensation cases.
* Experience in other types of financial claims, such as PPI or consumer credit, is advantageous.
* Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to a variety of audiences.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Proactive approach to professional development and staying current with industry changes.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
