Job description

Company Overview:

Established in 2009, our company has built a strong reputation for providing comprehensive financial planning and wealth management services to our clients. We are committed to delivering personalised solutions tailored to meet their unique needs and objectives. As part of our growth strategy, we are expanding our team and seeking an experienced Financial Planner to join us.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will initially be responsible for managing 30 - 40 clients, representing approximately £20M - £30M in assets. As part of our growth strategy, the director will transition away from advising to concentrate on business development, generating new leads and opportunities. The Financial Planner will play a pivotal role in supporting our existing book of business while actively driving new business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture a portfolio of 30 - 40 clients, providing comprehensive financial planning and wealth management services tailored to their individual needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the director to develop and execute a business development strategy aimed at generating new leads and opportunities.
  • Leverage existing professional connections and networks to expand our client base and drive revenue growth.
  • Actively participate in client meetings, offering expert advice and guidance on investment strategies, retirement planning, estate planning, and other financial matters.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide the highest level of service to clients.
  • Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with clients built on trust, transparency, and integrity.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Financial Planner or Wealth Advisor.
  • Certified Financial Planner.
  • Strong track record of success in managing client relationships and driving business growth.
  • In-depth knowledge of investment products, retirement planning strategies, tax laws, and estate planning techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
