Financial Planning Administrator/Trainee Paraplanner

The Company: Regionally recognised, award winning IFA firm based in Wetherby looking to add an industry experienced Financial Planning Administrator to their back-office support team - This will suit those looking for development into paraplanning work short/medium-term with that progression path very much supported.

• Office Location: Wetherby
• Hybrid/Home Working: 100% office-based

Package: £25-30k DOE + discretionary bonus and full company benefits

• Benefits: 4% pension, 4xDIS, PMI & full study support to Diploma via the CII

The Role: To work collaboratively with Financial Planners & Paraplanners to ensure that clients receive an exceptional level of service. You will managing key client relationships and co-ordinate, manage and implement administration for clients - Duties include:

• Processing all new and existing business across investments and pensions work
• Gathering client information on existing investments
• Preparing documents for meetings ensuring client records are up to date and accurate
• Have regular communication with clients providing them with progress updates as required
• Co-ordinate all administration during both the client onboarding and delivery process ensuring that any meeting follow up is actioned accordingly

The Person: The successful candidate must come from an IFA/wealth management/investments management background and be very process driven! You will be able to prioritise busy workloads effectively and be a good all-round communicator:

• Required: Previous financial services experience is preferred but is not essential, but previous office-based experience is required
• Required: Excellent communication skills both written and verbal as well as being IT literate
• Preferred: Be motivated to study towards the QCF level 4 Diploma and ultimately take on research/report responsibilities in future
