A leading global automaker and provider of innovative mobility solutions are currently looking to recruit a full-time Financial, Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
This position is hybrid-working with the expectation that the candidate attends either the Coventry or Slough offices once a week.
Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 depending on experience
The primary purpose of this role is to be a Business Partner, this will include ensuring the creation, analysis and provide detailed reporting which identifies areas for improvement or optimisation of commercial strategy. This role will be lead the Annual Budget and forecasts in their creation and submission. This is a proactive role, suggesting solutions to maximise the companies results in the different activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Co-ordinate and perform individual profitability and pricing analysis by product/customer to ensure financial optimisation
o Including design and analysis of SMT fleet performance, providing insight for which the Commercial committee to adjust pricing policy where needed
* Co-ordinate and perform internal cost control and reviews with department heads
* Review, implement monthly provision calculations
* Work with the operational management team to provide them with his financial expertise and advise them in their decisions
* Create analysis and present financial data, including forecasts and budget to;
o The Finance Director
o Business operational departments
o Requests from head office
* Work with management accounts a selection of month end close requirements
Essential Skills/Competencies/Experience/Qualifications Required:
- The individual will be experienced in financial synthesis and analytical thinking along with possessing strong communication skills, discipline, curiosity, tenacity, flexibility and the ability to work within a team. Autonomy, good sense, accuracy and reliability to take good decisions.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience, professional qualifications: Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- FP&A/Commercial Finance/Business Partnering experience is critical within this role as well as knowledge of management accountants activities.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel as well as other Microsoft tools and finance tools. Able to manage pressure in peak times and able to invest him/her self during peak times.
- They need to be confident as they will be required to present financial data to head office and the management board.
