Form of workRobert Half are supporting our client, a FTSE Business based in Bristol, in their recruitment of a Financial Planning Analyst on a permanent contract. Sitting in a small, high performing team in a business who pride themselves on internal career progression, the role will support the generation of the monthly P&L forecast, annual budgeting and maintenance of reporting to assist in business planning. A commercially focused, and "non month end close" role, there is lots of business partnering with non finance teams & senior stakeholders discussing your analysis to drive business advancements.
The salary on offer is up to £55,000 + bonus + benefits. Hybrid working is supported (3 days in the office) and the office is located conveniently for drivers and those using public transport.
Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate and produce forecasts for headcount, overheads, costs and sales including budgeting, and that all inputs have been challenged and reviewed
- Publish monthly KPI targets to assess business performance
- Manage forecast & budget timetables
- Complete pricing calculations
- Support and develop process improvements which enhance business forecasting
- Internal report for balance sheet and cash flow budgets, forecasts and external deliverables
- Take data & information from the Management Accountants and produce a monthly presentation to senior leadership on performance, analysing variances, trends with explanations
- Deputise for line manager when necessary
- Be involved in project based work
About You:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- Strong partnering ability - be able to discuss financial information with non finance professionals
- Be inquisitive with a curious mind to interrogate numbers and challenge when necessary
