About The Role

This is a great opportunity for an experienced finance professional to use your skills and analytical expertise to help address the biggest health issue in the UK today.
We are seeking an experienced and skilful qualified accountant to join us as our new Financial Planning and Analysis Transformation Lead (FP&A Lead).
We are currently implementing a new Finance System, Unit4 ERPx and Unit4 FP&A. This role will lead the FP&A workstream during the user acceptance testing and system deployment phases. You will provide financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making Financial Planning and budgeting. You will have a strong analytical mindset with technical ability and excellent people skills.
You will be responsible for the effective delivery of the Unit4 FP&A module in accordance with the project timeline and then the development of reporting tools and processes to maximise the benefits to the Society as we embed the system and new ways of working.
This is a homeworking role, but you may be required to travel to attend some meetings and team-days, so you must reside in the UK, have the correct right to work documents to work in the UK and be comfortable/willing to travel to our flagship offices (London or Birmingham) if/when required.
About you
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Experience and knowledge of Unit4 ERPx /Unit 4 FP&A or equivalent cloud-based system.
  • Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis is essential.
  • Experience of working within the charity sector is preferred but not essential.
Person Specification
  • Excellent and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent IT skills and extensive experience/knowledge on using Microsoft packages.
  • Proficient report building, data visibility and dashboards with Power BI or similar
  • Work collaboratively and be able to prioritise your workload effectively.
  • Strong analytical and interpretation skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and great attention to detail.
  • Advocate for Alzheimer’s Society, demonstrating passion and resilience to make a difference.
  • Be a self-starter and incredibly motivated.
