Job Description
The Company: Regional IFA business with multiple sites and a presence across the breadth of Northern England looking to add a Financial Planning Assistant to their Leeds office. A truly independent, private wealth focused financial advice firm:
- Office Location: Central Leeds
- Hybrid/Home Working: Yes – 3-days office, 2 days WFH
Package: £26-30k base DOE + bonus and full company benefits
- Benefits: 21 days holiday plus stats, pension, 4xDIS on top of a full flexible benefits package
- Bonus: Discretionary – Paid annually
The Role: A hybrid role taking on across technical admin support and basic research/suitability report writing. Your time will be split across business processing and administrative support to 2 financial advisers, and basic paraplanning to support advisers wit advice compilation: Duties include:
- Providing relevant documentation ahead of client meetings
- Obtaining relevant research relating to proposed advice
- Compiling suitability letters based on the advice being given
- Processing new business
- Responding to client queries
- Maintaining client records on XPlan
- Liaising with Life offices and providers
- Ensuring the administrative requirements are completed for the Client Review Process
- Contribute to new business development and proactively maintain a high level of client service
The Person: An IFA/wealth management/investments management background is a necessity, coupled with exposure to supporting IFA’s/financial advisers in a private wealth advice environment.
- Required: Paraplanning/suitability report compilation experience
- Required: Adviser administration experience
- Part-qualified Diploma (minimum)
