Job description

Our client is a leading Financial Wellbeing and retirement specialist, working with hundreds of businesses across the private and public sector by offering their staff financial education, guidance and regulated financial advice. As the company continues to grow, a requirement has arisen for a home-based Financial Wellbeing Associate to join its Education Design team.

The Financial Wellbeing Associate will be supporting the Education Design team in the research and creation of education design projects for both private and public sector clients of the firm. Tasks undertaken will be key to the maintenance and creation of presentations delivered by our company's Financial Coaches (who deliver our financial education seminars), with an opportunity to support the creation of other materials for clients, such as webcasts and animations.

The role's key duties include:

  • Assist in creating financial education material that will predominantly be delivered through online and face to face seminars to clients
  • Review existing financial education presentations and apply updates to corporate-specific information, tax year updates, and regulatory changes as appropriate
  • Assess and gain a detailed understanding of a variety of employer benefits information, in particular the specifics of the pension, share schemes, protection benefits, and other benefits aimed at improving employees’ Financial Wellbeing
  • Assist in researching ongoing changes being applied to public sector pensions, and support in the creation of financial education content that can be explained clearly and accurately to pension members
  • Create new and visually engaging ways of presenting financial education to employees in a PowerPoint format
  • Work with video and animation software to create short, interesting, and accurate videos to provide employees with a clear understanding of their workplace benefits
  • Create, update, and edit existing scripts used in short financial education videos
  • Ensure all financial education material created is accurate and easy to understand, working with the Compliance Team to ensure all information meets regulatory requirements

The successful candidate for the Financial Wellbeing Associate vacancy will receive:

  • A salary of between £30,000 - £35,000
  • Annual bonus

Suitable candidates interested in the Financial Wellbeing Associate vacancy will have the following criteria:

  • Financial Services experience
  • Possess strong knowledge of Pensions, Taxation and Share Schemes
  • Ideally hold the RO1 exam or be willing to sit it
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Live a commutable distance from Bristol
