Finishing Operative Required!
Our client is a well-established designer & manufacturer of print / signage for the UK retail industry. Due to the on-going success and profitable business wins our client is looking to recruit Finishing Operatives to join a dynamic and growing team.
As a Finishing Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out the finishing of the printed works including but not limited to, laminating, cad cutting, mounting, rolling, packing, welding, stitching, and trimming to a high standard.
(Finishing Operative) - Position Overview
To ensure all equipment and machinery being used it set up correctly and on time.
Maintain ad enhance efficiency of finishing machines
Collaborate with finishing supervisor for work sign-off
Pack and finish jobs according to specifications
Ensure compliance with quality control measures
Prioritise Health & Safety, maintaining a hazard-free work area, following Safe Systems of work & performing daily cleaning or area and machines.
Report any quality concerns promptly
Collaborate with colleagues, following instructions given by senior colleagues
Undertake additional duties as required by management and the needs of the business(Finishing Operative) - Position Requirements
Ability to work and operate in accordance with safe working practices
Strong attention to detail
Flexibility to the working hours
Previous experience of working within a finishing department, welding or sewing is advantageous
Experience working with large scale machinery(Finishing Operative) - Position Remuneration
Alternate shifts: 6:30am to 2:30pm / 2:30pm to 10:30pm.
