Our award-winning, forward-thinking client is looking for Finisher Operator to join their well-established team in Worksop.
Our client is a market leader in their area of expertise within manufacturing of bespoke products for multiple industries.
THE ROLE
Your responsibilities as a Finishing Operator will include:
- To take responsibility of finishing products to a saleable state
- To ensure all health and safety requirements including PPE are adhered to whilst working on site
- To locate and use any products required
- To ensure finishing equipment is maintained during the finishing operation, handling, and storage
- To handle product jigs, and trim or finish products to specific set requirements
- To complete all paperwork and documentation required during the finishing operation
- Working pro actively and assisting team memebers with a high standard of house keeping
- Effective communication during product handover
- Sharing knowlege/training other members of staff
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal Finishing Operator will be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:
- Previous manufacturing background is desirable
- A high level of attention to detail is important
- Operating hand tools
- Knowledge of health and safety in a manufacturing environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills are required
- A satisfactory level and Maths and English is essential
- Time management skills are needed for the role
