Are you an established FinOps analyst or specialist seeking a new challenge or feel a bit stagnant in your current role?
We are working with a global law firm with a fantastic reputation for excellence and pioneering in innovative new technologies and how it plays a part in transforming the legal landscape. With ambitious short and long term plans, there will be plenty of work to get stuck into for a brand new role they are looking to hire for: a FinOps Analyst/Specialist.
As this is a new exciting position within the firm, the initial contract will be a 24 month fixed term contract with the opportunity to build up the function essentially from scratch with responsibility to define, implement and grow the FinOps function.
You will play a key role in driving best practices and managing the cost consumption on cloud services and bringing forward cloud cost management initiatives and championing cloud, working with senior managers and C-suite level professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the FinOps governance and strategy
- Become the go-to trusted FinOps advisor, ensuring maximum value from firms investment in cloud technologies.
- Negotiating cloud contracts to improve firms position
- Develop financial reporting and data analysis on cloud usage
- Identify and optimize cloud costs without compromising on performance
Ideal candidate will:
- Be a self-starter and highly motivated
- Come from legal or financial services background, although other industries will be considered
- Be FinOps Certified
- Already be an established FinOps professional with a few years experience
- Comfortable speaking to senior stakeholders
This role is based in London and works a hybrid model of 3 days in office per fortnight.
