Location: South East England (Travel required to sites across London, Oxford, Bicester, Watford and Guilford.)
Basic Salary up to £60,000 / Car allowance £4,700 or company car / 40hr week / Enhanced pension / Health care / Life assurance

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fire Compliance Manager to join our team, based across the South East of England - including Oxford, Watford and London.
The successful Compliance Manager will ensure the project runs within appropriate legislation.
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of fire safety compliance across our sites in London, Oxford, and Bicester.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Fire Compliance Manager you will develop and implement comprehensive fire safety policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Conduct regular fire risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
Provide expert guidance and support to site managers and staff on fire safety protocols, training, and emergency procedures.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external authorities to address any compliance issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Keep abreast of changes in fire safety regulations and standards, and ensure all relevant documentation and training materials are up to date.
Act as the main point of contact for all fire safety-related inquiries and incidents, and liaise with regulatory agencies as required.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in fire safety compliance and management.
Extensive knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards (e.g.
Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, BAFE and BM Trada requirements)
Knowledge of British Standards including BS5839, BS9999
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Ideally, a member of the Institution of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM).
Flexibility to travel to sites across London, Oxford, and Bicester as required.
Comfortable working remotely and able to dedicate at least 2 days per week to home-based tasks.
