The Fire Consultant's Role
The appointed Fire Consultant will be responsible for conducting Type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments, reviewing FRA's and Fire strategies. Furthermore, the candidate should possess a thorough understanding of British Standards and ensure the provision of quality and technical monitoring on construction projects.
The Fire Consultant will engage with clients, offering comprehensive and proficient fire safety advice. This encompasses staying abreast of the latest legislation, Fire Safety strategies, and Fire Management plans.
The Fire Consultant
- Must be registered on the FRAR (Fire Risk Assessor Register)
- Proven experience in conducting site visits for Type 1-4 risk assessments
- Skilled in Fire Door and Compartmentation surveys
- Proficient in Bluebeam
- Adept in developing Fire safety strategies
- Capable of identifying solutions to Fire safety issues
- Supports the creation of documents, policies, and procedures
- Demonstrates an eagerness for career advancement within the risk assessment sector
