We are currently seeking a talented Fire Door Carpenter/Joiner to join our clients team around the Plymouth area. This is a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in enhancing fire safety measures and ensuring the integrity of buildings through the installation and maintenance of Fire Doors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain Fire Doors, frames, and associated hardware in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct inspections and assessments to identify Fire Door deficiencies and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure Fire Doors are integrated seamlessly into building designs and renovations.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in fire safety regulations pertaining to Fire Door installation and maintenance.
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues and clients on Fire Door-related matters.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter/Joiner with a specialisation in Fire Door installation and maintenance.
• In-depth knowledge of Fire Door regulations, building codes, and relevant industry standards.
• Strong carpentry and joinery skills, with a focus on precision and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and project stakeholders.
