Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated and experienced Fire Door Technicians with a proven track record in Fire Door maintenance and installation. The ideal candidate should be fluent in all aspects of Fire Door maintenance and installation procedures, ensuring that Fire Doors are compliant with safety regulations and standards.
The Ideal Candidate will carry out the installation of Fire Doors and passive fire products in compliance with the latest standards, for both small and large projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of Fire Doors to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on Fire Doors, including door removal, adjustments and replacements.
- Install new Fire Doors according to industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Identify and report any deficiencies in Fire Doors and recommend necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and installation work.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to schedule and complete projects efficiently.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
Qualifications;
- Proven track record in Fire Door maintenance and installation.
- NVQ Level 2
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience of installing Fire Doors to the industry standards
- Hold a Valid CSCS Card
- In-depth knowledge of Fire Door safety regulations and standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Effective communication skills in English (British English spelling and grammar).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and act in a professional manner at all times.
