Job Description
Walker Fire (UK) Ltd is one of the UK’s leading fire protection companies. Due to continued growth, Walker Fire are now looking to recruit permanent full-time experienced Fire Risk Assessor to be based throughout the UK.
Experience Required:
Suitable candidates must have proven and previous experience in the completion of Fire Risk Assessments, and have a recognisable and professional qualification in fire safety management and Fire Risk assessments from creditable providers such as the Fire Protection Association, Fire Industry Association and NEBOSH.
Membership with the Institute of Fire Engineers is essential and it would also be desirable for suitable applicants to be on the Institute of Fire Engineers Register of Fire Risk Assessors or a similar industry related scheme.
The role will be mainly field based, completing on-site survey audits and producing the related reports to an exemplary standard.
Successful candidates must be tenacious, ambitious and demonstrate a willingness to succeed coupled with a positive attitude towards helping improve fire safety. High levels of literacy and written communication skills are required, and excellent verbal communication skills are essential.
Suitable applicants must be self-motivated and have the ability to hold an autonomous role. Good time management and the ability to diary manage and manage your workload to meet deadlines and service level agreements is essential. The successful candidate must hold a full clean UK driving licence.

Hours of work: 42.5 hours per week: 8am - 5pm Monday – Friday.
The salary is negotiable according to experience.
20 days holiday plus all statuary holidays.
