Job Description
- Conduct comprehensive Fire Risk assessments for social housing properties, identifying potential hazards and recommending effective control measures.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement fire safety strategies and procedures.
- Provide expert advice on fire safety compliance, keeping abreast of relevant legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards.
- Support the development and delivery of fire safety training programs for staff, contractors, and residents.
- Work closely with project teams to assess and mitigate Fire Risks during construction and refurbishment projects.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to Fire Risk assessments and safety measures.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience as a Fire Risk Assessor within the social housing sector.
- Recognised fire safety qualification (e.g., FPA, NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate).
- Thorough understanding of fire safety legislation, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
