Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 + excellent benefits package

Carriera has partnered with an award winning multi-disciplinary property & construction consultancy who are looking to appoint an experienced Fire Safety Consultant to sit within their H&S/ CDM team. There is an existing portfolio of projects to service initially and room to further develop and build the service offering with new clients and businesses.

Our client work within the commercial, retail, and public/ private sector residential markets where they have developed excellent relationships with local authorities, housing associations and developers. They require an experienced, qualified, and competent Fire Safety professional to join their team and lead on all aspects of Fire Safety within the organisation.

They require someone who is capable of introducing fire management systems and protocols to the business, managing their own projects, working alongside other teams within the business e.g. building surveyors, work with housing associations, local authorities, developers, principal contractors and private clients to influence Fire Safety, review and conduct fire risk audits, assessments, compartmentation surveys and oversee all aspects of Fire Safety for their portfolio of projects.

About you

• Acted as a Fire Safety Consultant or similar capacity for 3 - 5 years.
• Excellent understanding of Fire Safety legislation and best practices.
• Experience of public/ private sector residential building & properties.
• Level 4 Diploma in Fire Safety/ CFPA Europe Diploma or similar qualification.
• Excellent knowledge of Building Safety Act and changes affecting the industry.
• Degree educated within Fire Engineering or similar discipline (desirable but not essential).
• Membership to MIFireE or MIFSM.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Full UK Driving License.
