Fire Safety Manager

TSA Surveying are currently recruiting for a Large Yorkshire university who are looking to employ a Fire Safety Manager. The University has created a new and exciting role within its Health and Safety Team that will spearhead the way the University manages Fire Safety.

This role presents a great opportunity for a person with the skills and ambition to implement change and drive improvement in this critical area.

The successful candidate will need experience leading in Fire Safety together with the skills and ability to:

•         Interpret and apply Fire Safety legislation and best practice in a complex setting.

•         Communicate effectively, engage people, and influence across all levels.

•         Create policy, guidance and supporting documents that are clear, concise and user centric.

•         Collaborate with key stakeholders.

You will be working within an environment with a high degree of autonomy and the flexibility of hybrid working in line with the needs and demands of the service.

An ideal candidate would be from a passive fire or health and safety background and be able to demonstrate competencies in fire risk assessments and document B. Along side this, an ideal candidate will hold the following qualifications or similar:

• IFE and/or IFSM Membership
• Level 4 Diploma in Fire Safety
• ASFP
• Health and Safety Qualifications

Salary ranges from £44,000 to £56,500 based on experience and a healthy benefits package.
