Fire and Security Engineer

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled Fire and Security Engineer to join our Clients Property Compliance Team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of their properties by delivering top-notch servicing, maintenance, and installation of fire alarms, emergency lighting, door entry, and CCTV systems. You'll be on the move frequently, so they will equip you with a business-use van and fuel card.
Day to Day of the role:
- Test, service, and install fire systems, emergency lighting, AOVs, and CCTV.
- Identify faults and carry out repairs or installations on door entry, door access, and door operators.
- Ensure all systems comply with British Standards and report any defects promptly.
- Maintain accurate and detailed reports using reporting software.
- Liaise with residents to arrange appointments and discuss works, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Complete all paperwork accurately and on time, including job tickets and timesheets.
- Order new parts as necessary and follow procedures.
- Participate in the out-of-hours emergency service as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- F.I.A or equivalent certifications.
- Electrical qualifications are ideal but not essential.
- Proven industry work experience in fire/door entry & access is desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills and experience working in occupied premises.
- Confidence in using IT technology such as iPads.
- Full and current driving licence with a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
- Ability to drive a company van.

This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, with the opportunity to supplement your salary through participation in the out-of-hours rota, minimum 1 in 10 weeks.
