Salary 35-40k per annum
Essex and surrounding areas to include central London
New Van & Fuel card provided
On call rota
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent to start ASAP
Clean driving licence preferred

I am working with an established Fire & Security contractor operating across Essex and Central London . They specialise in in active fire and security solutions, offering an unparalleled level of knowledge & service in this sector built up over a number of years trading.

Your role will be to provide field support for reactive and maintenance works for the existing customer base. You will also be required to carry out small installations, commissioning, and the occasional site survey.

Systems include fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers.

Fire & Security Engineer Key Responsibilities:

• Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair on designated equipment
• Completing preventative maintenance and field modifications
• Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service log books and internal PDA reporting in a timely manner
• Maintaining effective communications with customers and office to ensure resolution and proper follow-up
• Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated
• Meeting Health & Safety and all other applicable regulatory requirements
• Identifying and participating in sales opportunities such as new contracts, and system sales
• Be part of the emergency out of hours standby engineering team and go on the daily call out rota

My client is looking for people with relevant experience. They invest in training their staff so will also consider candidates with 1 - 2 years experience or someone with a strong electrical background who has had some experience in fire and security.
